Dalat belongs to Lam Dong province, located on the Langbiang plateau with a height of 1500 meters above sea level (area: 393.29 km²). Thanks to that, Dalat city has become a popular tourist destination for domestic and international tourists.

Dalat has temperate climate. The average temperature is from 18°C to 21°C. The highest temperature does not exceed 30 degrees and the lowest is not less than 5 degrees.

In addition, in the last months of the year, it is the time when the typical flowers of Da Lat begin to show off: wild sunflowers, cherry blossoms...
The best time for you to have an ideal tour of Da Lat is probably in October, November and December.

5. Famous tourist spots in Dalat
 

Love Valley is one of the most poetic landscapes in Dalat, about 6 km northeast of the city center. The Love Valley is beautiful and fascinated by tourists because of its deep valleys and smooth green pine forest like a charming painting.



Xuan Huong Lake: Located in the center of Dalat, the lake is famous for the shape of a crescent moon and is the most beautiful lake of Da Lat city. Perhaps the best time to visit the lake is in the early morning, with gentle breeze. There are also fun activities for tourists to visit here such as duck riding, jet skiing, or rubber boat rowing.



Domaine de Marie Church is also known as Vinh Son Church, Mai Anh Church. This is an architectural cluster consisting of a chapel and two rows of houses for nuns with a total area of 12 hectares located on Ngo Quyen Street, about 1 km southwest of downtown Dalat.


 
Tuyen Lam Lake is an amazing place with a pure and romantic atmosphere. Especially, tourists in Da Lat want to come here because they can try horse riding, canoeing on the lake, or hang around to explore the majestic mountains. The lake is 5 km from the center of Dalat city to the south, on Phung Hoang Mountain.



Datanla Falls is a large waterfall located in the Datanla tourist area - 8 km from Prenn waterfall and 10 km from Dalat and is a sightseeing and adventure destination.



Dalat Train Station is the train station of Da Lat city. This is considered the oldest station in Vietnam and Indochina. The station was built by the French in 1932 and completed in 1938. Now the railway is only exploited 7km to serve tourists visiting Linh Phuoc pagoda.



Bao Dai Palace is considered to be a beautiful and elegant mansion located on a hill of 1539m high, associated with the landscape of park architecture, Thuong Uyen Garden, Ai An forest and a small lake. Palace is also a massive building with high value of architecture. Location: On Trieu Viet Vuong Street, 2.5 km south of Dalat center.



Dalat City Flower Garden: With over 300 species of flowers blooming all year round, Dalat Flower Garden is one of the destinations that attracts many domestic and foreign tourists whenever traveling to Dalat. Besides beautiful flowers, the garden also displays rare and beautiful plants such as Bonsai, African cacti.



Stairway To Heaven is located in Sunny Farm - Happy Farm, about 7km from the center of Da Lat. Sunny Farm - Happy Farm is a studio combined with a cafe with a pretty view.

Cock Cathedral: Its official name is Cathedral of St. Nicola Bari, also known as the Cock Church because at the top of the bell tower is shaped like a big cock) is a church Catholicism in Vietnam.



Dalat Cable Car in Robin Hill: Before 1975, this hill was Tan Lac artillery. Dalat Cable Car is one of the longest cable car routes in Vietnam (2300m long), starting from Robin Hill to Truc Lam Zen Monastery. With a height of 1,600m, visitors will have an interesting feeling when seeing  the panoramic view of Da Lat – dreamy city.



Lang Biang Mountain attracts tourists from Dalat because here they can experience mountain climbing adventures. At the foot of the mountain, there are many very well-developed restaurant services meeting to the needs of visitors. Location: 12 km from Dalat center to the North.



Elephant Waterfalls: As a national landscape monument, Elephant Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the majestic Central Highlands with a height of over 30m and a width of 15m. The waterfall is located in Tran Nam Ban town, Lam Ha district, 25km from Dalat city to the southwest



Linh An Pagoda: Belonging to Elephant Waterfalls complex, the temple worshiped many large Buddha statues which are elaborately carved.



Dalat ZooDoo Zoo: Nearly 40km from Dalat, Zoodoo is not only an Australian-friendly-style zoo, but it also develops a very modern model of mid-hill camping.



Clay Tunnel Tourist Area is also known as Dalat Star Sculpture Tunnel. It is 500 m² wide in Tuyen Lam lake area.
